ECEAT International is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

ECEAT International may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 2 March 2011.

The data we collect and how we use it
In the process of your applying for the ECEAT Quality Label, we will ask you for certain information concerning you and the accommodation you want labelled with the ECEAT Quality Label. This information is necessary for us to verify and evaluate your ECEAT Quality Label application, and to be able to contact you to round off the labelling procedure and keep our administrative database updated.

We may ask you for the following information:
• Name and surname
• Name of the accommodation you own/manage/are responsible for
• Address of the accommodation concerned
• Basic information and various details on the accommodation/tourist service concerned
• Contact details of you and / or the accommodation/tourist service concerned

You are under no obligation to provide this information. However, if you don’t, we will not be able to continue the process of awarding your accommodation with an ECEAT Quality Label. You can browse through most of this website without disclosing any information about yourself.

ECEAT International will use your information confidentially and solely for its own purposes. Your information will not be sold, leased or disclosed to third parties.

Your acceptance of these Privacy Statement items
By using any of the sites within our website network, you unconditionally agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, via the contact details on www.eceat.org or your regional ECEAT office. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
